Dr. Hinson
Dr. Hinson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School in 1989. He has practiced in the Twin Cities for many years and is well versed in addressing all your pet's medical needs. He has a special interest in surgery and in geriatric medicine geared towards promoting a better quality of life for older pets. When away from the hospital, Dr. Hinson pursues a number of hobbies including fishing, gardening and gourmet cooking. He has a dog, Reggie who can be often seen hanging out in the hospital.
Dr. Erika Mueller
Dr. Mueller joined the Mendakota Animal Hospital team in July of 2007 after earning her degree in Veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2007. Prior to that she attended the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and graduated with a B.S in biology. Dr. Mueller took 2 years off between undergraduate and vet school and spent that time earning valuable veterinary experience working as a veterinary assistant and technician.
Dr Mueller grew up in the Twin Cities area and knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. After 10 years of hard work, she is proud, excited and amazed that she has achieved her goal. Her special interests include internal medicine, dentistry and senior care.
When Dr. Mueller isn’t working she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Dr. Mueller has 2 dogs(Joey and Penelope) and 2 cats (Ozzy and Lucy), all of which she adopted during vet school.
